SolarHeed consists in a δ function (true/false): 'true' (red) when a ΔDst larger than 50 nT in an hour is expected, 'false' (green) otherwise. The warning code is based on the model by E. Saiz, C. Cid and Y. Cerrato (2008). The model ingests interplanetary magnetic field data from DSCOVR and is run with a cadence of approx. 3 minutes. The lead time is between 15 minutes and 1 hour and, once triggered, the alert remains in effect for 24 hours.
